The 10th Annual PAGSE Symposium provided an opportunity for federal officials, politicians, agency executives and private sector representatives to meet some of Canada’s top Leaders in Innovation. These researchers have taken their work from the lab to the marketplace, have applied it to public policy needs or have improved processes, products or services. The invited delegates are from a range of sectors and industries, including aerospace, pharmaceutical or chemical processing industries, natural resources, informatics & biotechnology, and from various research organizations or agencies. At a reception on Parliament Hill delegates discussed their work with Members of Parliament, senior government officials, granting council executives and other guests. Two delegates made brief presentations during the reception, describing their work and the contribution that innovation can make to the Canadian economy.
