Hear Dr. Pierre Bélanger, Vice-Principal of Research at McGill
university present a bilingual overview of the major advances in intelligent
systems research in Canada, and the impact they are already having on
the Canadian economy. An electrical engineer internationally recognized
for his research in the robotics field, Dr. Bélanger is a Director
of PRECARN Associates Inc., a national, industry-led consortium conducting
research in this area, and a founding member of the Institute for Robotics
and Intelligent Systems, a federal Network of Centres of Excellence supported
by NSERC and PRECARN.
